Hello friends and readers:
Well, the word has filtered down from the World Health Agency and other researchers: Yes, we will probably see a major resurgence of H1N1 Swine Flu during "dead of winter" flu season.
We'd hoped that the herd immunity (from many people already having gotten H1N1) and possibly from the vaccine being effective, would prevent a "dead of winter" third wave. Reports are starting to trickle in to us concerning the beginning of the third wave, and it's looking quite severe. Many of the victims already had the disease in the first two waves. This is BAD, it shows a big mutation of the virus. Other nations are reporting severe disease with many deaths.
We'd like to tell you why we think that Swine Flu is going to cause a big problem this winter, and WHY YOU SHOULD HAVE A PLAN to deal with it.
The current situation is interesting. They have no idea if the vaccine is working, or if a second dose will be required. They don't know because there was NO testing done, there was no time.
A second factor is herd immunity. After a large percentage of the population has had the disease, it will begin to slow down. This is good, in fact it's great. It appears that the US is beginning to see some herd immunity. But some folks are getting this disease twice, and in quite a few cases, people are getting it 3, or even 4, times. This is because the germ is evolving.
It's not even flu season yet. This winter, an evolved (mutated) form of Swine Flu could literally shut our country down. This is a nasty flu.
Does it seem to you as if the news keeps changing about Swine Flu, sometimes on a daily basis? They are inoculating people like crazy, but they have no idea if one dose will work! Remember you read this when they talk about a necessary second (or third) dose.
The people that we look to for information are disorganized, even while they are trying to seem authoritative. The fact is, they are in a bit of a mess, arguing among themselves, and independently making statements to the news media.
A tiny portion of the population has been vaccinated. There was a big rush when the first doses arrived, but by the time the vaccine was readily available, the lines were down to nothing. Counties got thousands of doses, and 20 people were in line for it!
In one way, you have to wonder why is the government and the medical community is made such a big deal of Swine Flu. The declaring of a pandemic and the recent pandemic emergency declaration seem pretty severe.
So why the hysteria, and why the obsession with Swine Flu? It's pretty simple, and it's the reason their apparent overreaction actually makes sense. Scientists are frantically worried about what will happen with Swine Flu later this winter.
What you are unlikely to hear on the mainstream news is that a flu like this comes in waves, with the 1st Wave usually having a low fatality rate. Right now we're in the 1st Wave of Swine Flu. It's just not that deadly.
In the similar 1917-1918 flu, very few died in the early waves, but between 75 and 100 million people died in the late waves.
That's why they're obsessed with having as many as possible inoculated with an untested vaccine. It's also why they are promoting the addition of illegal-in-the-USA adjuvants (extenders) to the vaccine. Plus, they don't have 1/100th enough vaccine, even if you have a desire to be a guinea pig. They've changed their story about every detail of the production and the availability of this vaccine dozens of times, all the while presenting every new pronouncement as gospel.
One of two things is going to happen this winter: If a large percentage of the population gets the disease early, (YES, it's possible that you can get it more than once, so no stupid 'pig flu parties', please) it will slow down and we'll have "herd immunity", meaning it will decrease due to many people having some immunity. This would be great.
If not, and we get a 1917-1918 Swine Flu scenario, schools will be closing, then businesses will begin to close, and then critical workers (like truck drivers) will begin to go home. Who will take a chance on being infected with a truly deadly flu?
At this point, we will see a severe breakdown in goods and services. If you think people act stupidly when a winter storm warning is given, wait until you see what happens if a high death-rate influenza sweeps the nation.
If you've ever thought that you might want to be prepared for a big national emergency, this might be a good time. Bad things don't just happen in places like Haiti, where poor people live. We are just as vulnerable! Please use our grocery and supply lists, or at least save them for when things start looking really ugly.
Get the supplies now that you can't purchase locally. We sell the items that you can't easily go into a store and purchase. We're already running out of some products, especially masks. We won't be getting any more masks when these are gone; production is all going to hospitals and first-responders.
Around the world, during disasters, it has been proven time and time again that the official infrastructure collapses during extreme stress. Our natural 'wiring' for survival and family protection rules over the greater good. Our survival instincts keep us alive, as they kept our grandfather, and his grandfather, alive. No one wants to die of a horrible disease for a job, nor do they want to expose their family.
It's chilling to think how easily America could be shut down.
